Day 1 ----------- Arrive & Drive to Turrialba (Casa Turire Hotel)

Today we will meet you outside the airport (SJO) and transfer you to the first hotel. This will be Casa Turire which has amazing views of the Turrialba Volcano. (Meals: None)

Day 2 ----------- Raft Pacuare (Casa Turire Hotel)

Today we will take on the famous Pacuare River. We will make it a day trip and spend around five hours on the river doing rafting, hiking, and river lunch. In the afternoon we will make our way back to Casa Turire. If the kids are interested we can take them to see some local village dance performance of a children's group we work with in a nearby village for a little evening entertainment. (Meals: Breakfast & Lunch)

Pacuare River

Day 3 ----------- Travel to Pacific Coast (Necochea Inn)

Today we will make the drive over the highest mountain range in Costa Rica rising to 11,000ft. When we get to the top we will take a short hike to show you the famous Paramo's of the tropical regions. We will then make our descent to the Pacific coast and stay at the lovely Necochea Inn. (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)

Day 4 ----------- Zipline & Tarzan (Necochea Inn)

Today we will be doing the Zipline and the Tarzan swing and the afternoon can be spent visiting some of the nearby beaches. (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 5 ----------- Surf Classes (Necochea Inn)

Today we will be taking on the waves of the Pacific. Surf classes will begin in the morning and we will stay at the beach for awhile. Before sunset we will mount some horses for a ride on the beach. (Meals: Breakfast & Lunch)

Day 6 ----------- Travel to Manuel Antonio & Beach Time (Arenas del Mar)

Food is going to get cold Doug

We will make the 40 minute drive north to the famous beach of Manuel Antonio. Often mentioned as one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica, this is a great area to spend the last two nights. It is a little touristy but I have put you in the Arenas del Mar which is a magnificent place with incredible views just outside of the touristy area but close enough to get some shopping done and some solid R&R. (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 7 ----------- R&R on Beach & Shop (Arenas del Mar)

Today is the day to get the R&R, shop, and have an amazing last night sunset dinner in one of Costa Rica's most beautiful areas. (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 8 ----------- Travel to Airport (Arenas del Mar)



Today we will transfer you to the airport for your flight home!
