We operate our trips private just for you guys so we are not on a large commercial rafting trip it will just be your raft. After the rafting we will make the drive to the Nayara Resort. Day 4 ----------- La Fortuna Waterfall, Nature Hike, & HotSprings (Nayara Resort)

Today we will make our way to the La Fortuna Falls. This is a nice little hike but well worth it. The La Fortuna Falls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in all of Costa Rica. I have heard people say this is the "Best Day Ever". You get the Pacuare River and the Nayara Resort all in the same day which is pretty hard to beat. Arenal Volcano View from your Room
Today you visit the zipline which this one happens to be the best in the country with views of the active volcano. The area of the zipline is primary rainforest and the zip cables go from mountain top to mountain top and make for an amazing adventure for all. Jamie gets front row!
Today you will enjoy the adventure of canyoneering where you hike and rappel down different parts of a canyon

It is funny most people after doing this they were looking most forward to the rappels but after doing it the part they liked best was everything before and after the rappels which is hiking down using all fours and hopping into little pools and just getting soaked in a beautiful canyon in the middle of the rainforest. After the
canyoneering we will take everyone to just relax. This will feel well deserved after your 3 days of adventure. We will enjoy dinner at the hotsprings and just sitting around in the thermal waters which from what I hear make you look 15 years younger. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner)

Day 5 ------ Drive to Central Pacific (Arenas del Mar or Cuna del Angel)

Today we will make the drive to the Central Pacific which happens to be where the jungle meets the sea. This is a beautiful area. We have the option of staying at Arenas del Mar which will bring the cost a little bit higher than last years itin but it is quite the place. If you wanted to still stay in a nice place but try and bring the cost down a little we have the option of driving south for another 45 minutes and staying at Cuna del Angel. The Arenas del Mar is located in a touristy area and Cuna del Angel is more isolated in it's own area. (Meals: Breakfast)

We will make a very short visit to see the heart of palms and how they are harvest. After that we can not waste much time because we will be seeing how chocolate is made. If you are a chocaholic or not this is worth the visit. Costa Rica is a country that is known for it's coffee but what most people don't know is that the cacao is very important or atleast was in Costa Rica. The cacao was once used as the currency of Costa Rica. Now a days we accept dollars and eat chocolate which makes the tour more enjoyable for you and us. Hold on Laura!!!
Today you will make the short drive to the Pacuare River. This is one of National Geographics top 5 scenic rivers on the planet. The river is filled with waterfall, canyons, and crystal clear water on your 4 hour rafting trip. The rapids are class III & IV and during April it is running a bit low so it will not be too rough. After the rafting adventure we will make our way to one of the ten most active volcanos on Earth. The Arenal Volcano is the perfect cone-shaped volcano that has lava pouring down it's side. You will have a great view of the volcano from your hotel room. Dinner will be at the hotel as we will be arriving late after the day of rafting. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner)

The views of the active volcano are unmatched and the cables go through the rainforest. (Meals: Breakfast)

Sample Itin #2 Garry Sabatini

Day 1 ---------- Arrive and Drive to Grano de Oro Hotel (Grano de Oro)

We will break out the Rover's for this trip as this itinerary takes us off the beaten path. The first night is nothing too intense we just plan on resting up after a long day of travel in the Grano de Oro Hotel which is one of San Jose's nicest places to stay. (Meals: None)

Day 2 ---------- Drive to Dominical House & Visit Beach (Casa Belmar)

Casa Belmar Youtube Clip

Today you will be picked up in a four wheel drive vehicle and we will make our way south on the Pacific side. This is in my opinion the most beautiful part of the country being where the mountain meets the sea. We will be staying in a beautiful house on the side of a ridge with excellent views of the Pacific Ocean. This house is surrounded by jungles and the sound of howler monkeys as you wake up in the morning. We will cross a river and drive up a steep hill to arrive at the house. (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 3 ---------- Zipline & Tarzan Swing & Beach Time (Casa Belmar)

Pacific Sunsets
Today you will enjoy one of Costa Rica's best ziplines. I would have to say it is the second best behind the Arenal Volcano zipline. The one this this zipline has that the other does not is the Tarzan swing. This is something that rates right up there with one of the top adventures I have ever done. This is a Tarzan swing that is at an elevation of 1,000ft above sea-level. The swing is on the edge of the first ridge from the coast. You are not 1,000ft high but looking out over the ocean it sure feels it. In the afternoon we will make our way to the beach and enjoy some waves. (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 4 ---------- Rappel Nauyaca Falls & Beach in afternoon (Casa Belmar)

Today we will rappel Nauyaca falls. This is not canyoneering as here there is only one waterfall but it is a big one. The sound of rushing water is intense and the walk off the edge as we rappel down the waterfall is a feeling you will never forget. This is a waterfall that I consider the most beautiful waterfall in all of Costa Rica. It is a double-decker waterfall with a swim-hole at the bottom that can not be matched. In the afternoon we will head to the beach and enjoy the waves some more and then sunset at the house. (Meals: Breakfast & Lunch)

Raft Savegre River
Day 5 ---------- Raft Savegre River & Beach Time (Casa Belmar)

Today we will raft the Savegre River which has just some excellent rapids and is not as popular as the Pacuare. We will be doing a little off road to arrive and enjoy the river as if it was just ours. (Meals: Breakfast & Lunch)

Day 6 ---------- Surf Classes (Casa Belmar)

Today it is a day of surfing. If you wanted we could make this on day 2 and then just have boards with us all week and the kids could give it a shot everyday after the adventures, just a thought. (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 7 ---------- Drive back to Airport Hotel (Airport Hotel)

Today we will make the drive back to the airport hotel that will put you in position to fly home on an early flight if you would like. (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 8 ---------- Fly Home!

Sample Itin Garry Sabatini

Day 1 ------ Arrive and Drive to Casa Turire (Casa Turire)

Pacuare "Let's go Sabatini's!"
Today we will meet you outside the airport and drive you to the Casa Turire hotel. This is a beautiful hotel with great views of the erupting Turrialba volcano. The hotel is on a lake and you will have time to relax and enjoy the area in the afternoon. A flight that arrives around noon or just after mid-day would be best. (Meals: None)

Day 2 ------ Raft Pacuare River and Drive to Arenal Volcano (Nayara Resort)

Today is an action day of rafting the Pacuare River. The Pacaure River is listed as one of the top 5 on the planet and it is absolutely beautiful. March is the heart of the dry season and although this river has some big rapids the little ones will have no problem since it is running low this time of year. Everyone will still get completely soaked and love the ride. This river is nothing like Jersey. It is filled with canyons, waterfalls, and class IV rapids from start to finish. Actually you might be able to compare it to driving in Jersey in some parts. After the river we will drive to the Nayara Resort which is located just infront of one of the ten most active volcanos on Earth. The Arenal Volcano is a great spot and the Nayara Resort is a 4 star hotel but in my personal opinion a nicer than the two 5 star places in the area. Just check TripAdvisor for this place I have yet to see a negative comment.  (Meals: Breakfast & Lunch)
Arenal Volcano

Day 3 ------- Zipline and Hike National Park Arenal (Nayara Resort)

If the day of rafting was not enough excitement than I promise the zipline should do the trick. There are over 70 ziplines in the country and this is by far the best. Not only is it on the side of the active volcano with great views but it is also 8 different cables the longest being 1km long and 700ft high. This thing was built by Germans with a helicopter and it was well worth the investment. After the zipline we will then make our way to the National Park of Arenal where we will take a hike and get the best views possible of the boulders rolling down the side of the volcano. In the evening we can take you out for dinner or you can eat at the hotel and just relax in the pool. (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 4 -------  Canyoneering and Hot Springs (Nayara Resort)

Could be you Garry
Keep the adventure coming with the canyoneering adventure. This is a tour that everyone loves and I know the kids will enjoy it. You get soaked as you make your way through a canyon and when you approach 5 different waterfalls you will then have to rappel down the waterfalls. After this we will make our way to the Hot Springs where you will enjoy a well deserved meal and chance to just sit back and relax while viewing the volcano in the thermal waters.  (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner)

Day 5 --------- Fly to Manuel Antonio Area (Arenas del Mar Resort)

Another resort that is absolutely amazing. With one of the best views in the country infront of Costa Rica's most pristine beach the Arenas del Mar is a prime spot. With the flight to the Central Pacific you will have a chance to enjoy the landscape and then we will meet you at the airport and drive you 15 minutes to the hotel. We can also make the drive but it is around 4 hours but it would be up to you. The area of Manuel Antonio is a spot that is surrounded by monkeys, beautiful beaches, sloths, and places to eat to go out and enjoy the town. (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 6 ----------- Surf Classes (Arenas del Mar Resort)

Surf Classes
You can sleep in today and enjoy the view from the room as you wake up to the sound of the waves crashing. After breakfast it is time for the beach as the kids get a chance to learn how to surf.  This is great beach to learn how to surf and if you guys are up for it you can have at it also. (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 7 ----------- Beach Day! (Arenas del Mar Resort)

Today is your day to relax and if you want to go out and look for some more adventure than we will make it happen. (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 8 ----------- Fly Home!

Today we make our way back to the San Jose airport and catch the flight back north.
